It was a brilliant 👏 idea to remove the raised wood off the drawers. It gave the piece a personality. Nice choice of color combo. Darker color to the body & a light wood color to the top. The piece now looks fresh, new & modern. Thanks for sharing! 😊

yes it looks modern. very nice, clean even lines. but I prefer the original look. myself. my weakness is furniture. I just love furniture. but I love the original wood tone. if at all possible to leave the design as it was originally. now some of the furniture can't be turned into a nice piece without remodeling. and that's a good thing to say furniture. good job

it was a lively piece. why not do a darker stain instead of painting it?
