When I lived in York Region, the Union GO Bus platform was a place I used a lot. This is such a major upgrade. Almost sad I no longer live there and with COVID-19 I won’t be visiting back home anytime soon. Still it’s nice to see the changes.

It doesn't seem like all that long ago when all buses ran up and down University to and from the Elizabeth Street annex of the TCT (adding an extra 15-20 minutes to each commute unless you used a curbside stop closer to the Gardiner). The outgoing Union Station terminal had better amenities, but watching people scamper across Bay Street against the numerous posted warnings to get to and from Union Station felt like a perpetual accident waiting to happen (because only "suckers" used the walkway when it was even open). The new terminal is nice, and so convenient to the Gardiner. Soon people won't even remember the painful growth days of GO Transit termini!

Really nice and if it had Intercity buses one can actually travel from Toronto Union Station to Philadelphia Washington & Midtown Manhattan on Megabus operated by Coach Canada & USA or Midtown Manhattan Port Authority bus terminal lower-level on Greyhound USA and Canada Trailways of NY. What Toronto did is copy Midtown Manhattan PABT due to it being connected to the NYC Subway while in Toronto it's Amtrak/Via rail Go Transit & TTC.

Funny, I forgot that French is the second official language of Canada and that you can see it on all signs in train stations ...

I wonder if a lot of Canadians outside Quebec speak this language even if it is a little bit.
