Played like this it´s not a song. It´s an anthem. God bless them all.

This is one of the best collaboration of singers I have ever heard. The natural blend of Alison and Shawn's voices is incredible. Could listen to this song over and over again.

A few things I love about this cover as well: Shawn and Alison are singing together, neither trying to outdo the other... the genuine friendly smiles they exchange, they’re both appreciative of each other on stage... and how Shawn steps back on Alison’s solo to keep the spotlight on her. It’s always awesome to see two utter professionals working together and making something magical.

Alison Krauss is absolutely beautiful and I’m in love with that heavenly voice.

Everybody wants to talk about Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, etc etc yet Alison Krauss could harmonize with a blender . Hands down one of the most perfect voices in music (any genre) .

Paul Simon's two great strengths, IMO, are rhythms and lyrics. Exactly the strengths of these performers. Shawn, Alison, and everyone alongside them. Love it!

The harmony on the line " I am leaving" is out of this world
This is by far the best rendition of this song.

Why haven't Shawn and Alison recorded an album of songs like this? Their harmonies are excellent. The world is waiting!

it doesn't matter what genre of music you listen, it just doesn't get any better than this.

What a great cover. Their harmony is just the way this song was intended (and was sung by Simon & Garfunkel). Truly great performance that does justice to this masterpiece.

Jerry is plucking his dobro like he always does. It sounds amazing as always.

Jerry Douglas is a genius, playing counterpoint fills without overpowering the singers.

why someone would downvote a song of genius interpreted by a very exceptional group i'll never know.

I LOVE Simon and Garfunkel - Colvin and Krauss give them a run for their money! Just beautiful... Thank you for that.

I saw these two decades ago at the Ravinia festival outside of Chicago. Alison was an unknown to me at the time. The second she opened her mouth, I was absolutely mesmerized. At the end of her set, Shawn came out and they did a duet. The second their voices harmonized, you could hear a pin drop. It was absolute magic.

This song is poetry. Pure and simple. And the voices of these two women elevate it to a place where even the original artists could not take it.
