This car sells for 173k (guaranteed COE) for the latest price. LTA June basic cost with COE is 133k go figure the profit BYD makes. Crazy . 40k profit. So there's no real free 6 years service and warranty. You are actually paying for it.

Almost signed on the dotted line until I rented a MY unit from JB to Gentings and back. My dislike range from
1. the overly soft suspension at highway which makes you dizzy
2. the very small and tiny instrument panel which makes reading very difficult
3. the lack of cornering lights makes driving up Genting at night very scary
4. the promise of a 400 km range on the standard but I got 270km with 90% gone driving at 90kph all the way up to KL.
5. the interior did not bother me at first but after a few days, I got tired and bored.
6. the blue interior is....what can I say.
The straw that broke the camel's back was that BYD policy on using the car as a PHV would render the warranty to one year only. Guess they are not confident of their product being used constantly....not abused but just ferrying passenger. Strange but I would pass on BYD.

That's enough to buy 3 TESLA in most countries.
