It reminds me of that 1970s sound. I love this song; everytime I hear it, it takes me back to 1974.

I'm glad this genre is making a resurgence, been on Thee Sacred Souls for many years now and they definitely deserve the attention. Other bands that have this sound are also Thee Sinseers, The Altons, Joey Quinones, Thee Lakesiders, Trish Toledo and Durand Jones and the Indications. They became well known in the Lowrider/ Chicano scene a few years back with that Oldie sound of music and now it's getting recognition. I hope this inspires a generation like mine and the future ones to make and enjoy quality music like this.

I just discovered these guys listening to their song running away and it definitely has that late 60s early 70s vibes that I dig a whole lot. Its good to know that we have artist bringing that style of music back to the modern age. The type of music we all could use right about now.
