Textured Encaustic Technique with Incised Lines

I am loving this textured encaustic technique creating texture bubbles with splashes of wax and incised lines around them. I was so fun to experiment with different colors of wax and also oil paint. This was an experiment in colors you might say- not sure I'm in love with the color combo, but this encaustic painting is definitely interesting!

Your video is so essential to really appreciate the outcome. I've worked with encaustic and realize its unpredictability, you are very skilled and talented. Love it!

Love the final result. Looks fantastic! And wiping away that paint for the reveal is definitely satisfying 😊

Thought you were going to say your linseed oiled rags caught fire. You were very lucky though.

Do you use raw linseed oil or boiled, and does it make any difference?

Also, I'm curious, do you fuse after applying the linseed oil?

Is this wax? Does that mean like a candle?
After the finish is not sticky?
Or is it's gonna hard like stone? Do interested !
