i looked at the type S model as it looks sporty, it was the same 1.4. took one for a test drive, really nice cars and quite spacious for a 3dr, think more space than my scirocco i ended up going for. the civic drove nice and was my first time in this shame civic, but while it drove nice and changed will through its 6 speed box, it never felt fast even when you were going 60mph in my case or trying to accelerate quickly from a round-about/junction. might give another one a try even though i can afford the type R version, just because they look really good and well specced plus reasonably cheap to run.
