Number 59 really should have the entire play shown, still one of the most incredible goals scored in the PL era. Ramsey was that rare thing: a British player with incredible technique. All those flicks and instant passes, dancing around keepers in one-on-ones, always looking for the threaded pass instead of the Hollywood Gerrard blaster; if his name was Ramzinho it wouldn't have been unusual, but a Welsh player, of all things.

Let's be honest. He had a 6 month purple patch and the rest was very stop-start due to being riddled with injuries.

With the benefit of hindsight, Emery withdrawing that 300k a week contract was a masterstroke as he did absolutely nothing of note when he left Arsenal and saved Arsenal a fortune. I remember Arsenal fans being furious at the time, but Emery was proven right.
