Correction please... histogram bars are supposed to touch each other (no spaces between bars) since they represent a continuous variable.  Bar graphs on the other hand have spaces between them, since bar graphs are used for qualitative (discrete) variables.  You showed them both as having spaces between the bars.

The way you have provided concept about histogram is really good, but I don't think it would give a clear picture about histogram as you have missed some basic aspects of histogram. I'm telling you this as I'd just learned about histograms in detail from others. I was benefited from this but I wouldn't have been had I not learned about these earlier. It seems as if you have missed to mention these bars with same width aligning together (without any space in between) on x axis and a scale/height for each bar on y axis.

discrete variable obtaine by measurment therfore highte of persene is continuous variable and discriat variable obtaine by counting in addetion no gap in continuous variable...
