Eurovision has become so mainstream over the course of the past few years that when someone actually tries to be artistic and writes a song which comes with a message, not aiming for entertaining the mob, he is treated with a sudden wave of hatred and offence. The truth is, Russians had the visuals, and Ukraine had the voice. Thus, this is a well-deserved victory.

When 2:15 starts, I feel like I get even more chills because it reminds me of the "wailing" and the "crying" of the people who have suffered. Then when she hits the high note or whatever it's called it reminds me of the screams of those who have been terrified and in pain. Quite a wonderful piece of art.

I still think this song is exceptional. Her voice is very rare, she hits high notes extremely well, the range is amazing. And it is so emotional and powerful. This song has meaning, culture and emotion.. It's about time something like this won Eurovision.. It's different and she sung it with so much heart. My favourite winner in the last 5 years after Loreen with Euphoria. Let's face it, you'd all be complaining if Russia won anyway..
