Luigi Mangione was formally charged by the Manhattan DA last week on multiple murder and weapons charges, including an act of terrorism.

He killed one person and is being charged with THREE counts of murder in the state of New York, and both second (not premeditated by definition) and first degree (premeditated by definition) murder? How does that even make sense? His charges are LITERALLY contradictory for a single murder. They just want to send a message with all this.

If I was in the jury pool being interviewed I would be telling that prosecutor everything I thought they'd want to hear just so I could get on the jury. "Oh yea, I can be impartial. Medical Insurance? Never had a problem with it. Social media? Never heard of her...." Then once it came time for deliberations I would be that one hold out that tells everyone I just didn't feel like the state met the burden of proof.
