lvl 90 is becoming important now since newer characters tend to be reaction base ... but only lvl 90 them if theyre your main dps/dmg source if not ascend them to 6 just to get the stat bonus

another thing make it a habit to use elemental sight it reveals a lot about your surrounding (secret entrance/chest/items/seele general direction)

Built characters is soooo important. Especially when you need to switch teams/ characters, elements, and reactions. Having multiple built, or decent built characters can help so much. Had to learn it the hard way as a f2p 😔😔😔

Always pull for characters that are the most fun to play. Your definition of fun might change depending on whether you care about meta damage 36 star abyss stuff, but regardless having a fun team is the only way not to burn out on this game.

My tip for AR 50 is just take it slow. You feel like you're pretty far in the game but you only start hitting endgame around AR 55(?) When I was AR 50 is when I started learning what the hell artifacts are and trying out the abyss.

The two teams thing carried me

My first was Kaeya Chongyun Kokomi and Yelan

The other is Nahida Yao Yao Bennet and Yanfei

It helped me through a lot of stuff honestly... and I can also mix and match for teams like Nahida Kokomi Bennet and Yanfei

The idea for these teams may not be efficient. But it's good enough for the regular abyss up to floor 8 😅 and it's clearly decent for exploration

I have an alt account that I keep on AR45 on purpose, coz you can ascend characters to level 80 ascend weapons to level 80, you can get 5* artefacts and get character talents up to 8 without C3, this makes you almost as powerful as you can be while enemies stay at the level 65 range. makes going through content a second time much more manageable.

I disagree a bit on the level 90 one, I kinda blame it on shorts because you can have that much information in so little time.

You don't need to put ALL your characters on level 90 as soon as AR50, but at least 2 of you main DPS gotta be 90 asap, because the level difference between you and the enemy plays a huge part on your damage, a "Red" enemy (10 levels ahead) gains additional defense and do increase damage on you not only that but most of your numbers are multiplication based, so even if 50+ attack doesn't seen like a lot it actually is, and add to the difference in level that's a HUGE cap that you main source of damage CANNOT have.

Always prioritize your DPS, then your Sub-DPS and your susteiner, a rule of thumb is that at AR50 you have the DPS of you team at 90, you Sub-DPS at 80 and your susteiner altleast at 70 and as you gatter more resources you gradually put everyone into 90.

I lv90 characters as a token of how they helped me throughout my gaming journey and how much fun they provided me. I rarely use Jean now, but she is my first 5-star, the one who dps my early game until Ganyu, I lv90 Thoma the moment he is released just because I like his story and design, and similar. As long as you are not meta slave and play at your rhythm, you could play freely without any regret and truthfully enjoy the journey.

Xiao, Bennett, Barbara, Beidou—everyone level 70 except for xiao level 80
Yanfei, Yunjin, Noelle, Mona—everyone under level 60
