Great performance as for regular road car. My 2016 2, 0L Focus on automatic goes from 0-100 in 9.3 sec. And even this feels fast on regular city street. If you want go faster buy hot hatch and pay for it.

For all of you complaining it’s slow, it is not men’t to accelerate in a straight line or win a drag race. It’s an economy car for Christ’s sake. It’s ment to be fun around twisty roads while being efficient. Hence the great gas mileage. Driving a fast car slow isn’t as fun as driving a slow car fast. If you are looking for something fast, look elsewhere than here. There are much better things to do than complain about an economy car for being slow. If you want something quicker, get an Elantra sport or a Civic SI.

Automatic is actually faster in this car then the manual. not by much (8.3 to 8.4) and gets 1 mpg better in the city (30 to 29). Drove both and decided on the automatic, Probably the only car I've driven with a very respectable automatic transmission
