The Persistent Widow - Bible story for kids

Jesus told a story to teach about prayer.
There was a widow who needed help from a judge.
The judge was not a nice man. He didn’t care about God or the woman.

He told the widow to go away and leave him alone.
But the widow never gave up.
Day after day, she begged the judge to help her.
Day after day, the judge said “no.”

Finally, the judge had enough of the woman.
He thought, I will help her so that she stops bothering me.
The woman was happy that finally, the judge did what was right.

Jesus said that judge was bad, but eventually did what was right.
But God is good.
He told his followers to keep praying and never give up.
God hears and answers prayer.
