How often should you condition your leather boots?

I've heard of people conditioning their boots every month, and others never condition their leather at all.

But there's a sweet spot.

I re-condition my leather boots every 6-12 months. I like a more natural patina, though. Every 3-6 months will keep the leather more fresh looking and cleaner. But don't condition more often than that or you run the risk of damaging the leather.

Anyone who’s ever owned Redwings knows you gotta soften that demon leather a ton in the beginning 😂😂

When they get dirty, I clean them with saddle soap and then condition them and don’t rely on YouTube to tell me when to do it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Man, I just realised I’m a Craig Von Leaathercrack!!!

I always thought I was more of a Hank McDubbin. 😢

I'm distancing myself from being a Von Leather Crack more and more.
