Description - Running at a total length of 62km in a circular road that circles Penang Island, Route 6 is the longest road on the island. The road was constructed by the British in the 1920s, and at most sections with a speed limit of 90km/h. Due to one-way traffic changes within George Town, the starting point (KM0) is no longer at Penang Port roundabout. Instead, its now at the cross-junction of Jalan Jelutong, and ending at the traffic lights at Gurney Drive.
