Your dye and finish videos are actually really relevant to my interests as I'm an orthopedic shoemaker and out of the three workplaces I've been employed at over the years only my current one cares about aesthetic. The horrors I have seen at my first workplace... Yes, we did take off finish and pigment with acetone but redyed with what was basically latex based sole finishing liquid, absolutely disgusting looking.
Recently your burnishing tutorial helped me to put a really nice touch on one of my favorite pairs that I have ever created for a customer, so thank you for that as well!

Thanks for the tutorial, I just finished dying my very light tan suede shoes into a warm chocolate brown and they came out perfectly. The heads up on making sure we have enough dye was critical when ordering as I did need some of the second bottle to complete the job.

This is just what I needed! I found some gorgeous suede shoes at a thrift store that where in incredibly good condition and I just couldn’t pass them up, even though I’m not the biggest fan of the color (a light tan). I figured, why not just dye them myself? This video was so helpful and calming. I feel really confident now in being able to dye my shoes. ☺️

I recently managed to find a pair of these in NOS condition and could love them more! I’ve always been nervous about wearing suede because I was concerned it wasn’t as durable as calf skin. Over the last couple of months, I’ve learned that isn’t necessarily the case with proper care. This isn’t at all different from calfskin, which benefits from some attention as well. Great video!
