Thanks Steve for this incredible review. I love the idea of comparing amps and perhaps I should do that also in my videos. I am glad the TS A20 is able to keep up with the X25.

Thomas is legit. Love what he's trying to do in the industry. Passion project.

I am a big fan of Thomas and of Nelson Pass. I enjoy Thomas & Stereo reviews and the community he hangs with in Montreal. I am happy that his Gallion business is being well received. Great review here. I think it is high praise for Thomas that his amp can be compared to a Pass standard product. I also think it is fine for Steve to acknowledge that while the A20 has the resolution chops, he and others may prefer the Pass sound. I'd be thrilled to have my stuff compared to Nelson's stuff.

Thomas is a legit dude. Cool gear. His Class A/B amp is a killer deal.

A Passion project. Absolutely!
Thomas is creating gear that will be referenced in the future. What else can I say?

I met Thomas at AXPONA ‘23. He was showing his tube amp (TS 120?) and sharing the room with another YouTuber. He struck me as a genuinely nice guy who is very transparent about his role/agenda. Copper foil caps are incredibly pricey, as are aluminum caps, so the price doesn’t seem out of line with similar commercial offerings. The fact it can compete with the xa25 is high praise indeed.

I Admire Thomas for his dedication and do believe that it is indeed a passion project and did a beautiful job bringing this Amp to market.

Hi Steve. I am a long time subscriber from Canada 🇨🇦.
I have always enjoyed your insightful, honest, eloquent and entertaining reviews.
Your description of the sound of the Galion TS A20 made me want to run not walk out to buy one!
I am rightfully proud of our Canadian artists and audio designers.

I have been a fan of the Moody Blues since purchasing "In Search of the Lost Chord" in 1968.
It was indeed a different time back then. Young people were taking a different path back then.
Whenever I listen to "In Search of the Lost Chord" I'm taken back to a wonderful time in my life, when the world was opening up to me.
I recently saw Justin Hayward and his band play at Fallsview Casino in my hometown of Niagara Falls Ontario. It was a fantastic show!
I met the band after the show and they all signed my concert poster. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life!
Best wishes Steve.

Nice touch having the designers name on the front. Like having the guy who built the Corvette motor you buy sign the engine. I don’t know… I dig that

I have the Galion TS120SE running on PAP Duet 15 and i get all this precision, details and clarity you've talked about the A20 even running in class AB. This amplifier is also well made even manufactured in China. Thank you for the review. First i was watching the channel for the stuff, now it is fifty-fifty material-Music. I love to stream the albums you listen to on Qobuz. It's a nice way to discover new stuff. Thank you for that too.

"In Search Of The Lost Chord" was always my favorite Moody Blues album, and I still have my LP I bought back then, plus on CD.
Terry's Bose system is unusual but intriguing, and I'd love to hear it.

Wow! Now *THAT* is an amp!! Some of the best looking innards I've ever seen in *any* audio product!
Bravo! Superb!

Great review Steve… the comments seem to reflect a negative tone but if this amp can hang with Pass Labs… it is seriously good…

I think Thomas background is the detail and resolution camp or focus. Where Steve is less into that on a daily basis. Could be that Steve has more source music that is less than ideal. Either way, Thomas has a niche here where he is supplying an amp that gets to the high end sound for a fantastic value. Great Job Thomas!!
