Lawmaker exempts Native Americans from life jacket bill as they're 'very used' to cold water

Sky News host James Morrow says officials in Washington state have decided to exempt Native Americans from a life jacket bill because they have thousands of years of experience dealing with cold water.

I once went fishing in the Canadian Shield in late spring. We had an indigenous guide that my brother knew. When we were out in the middle of Lake Nipigon I realized there were not any life jackets in the boat. When I asked the guide about it he said....don't worry, you'll die of hypothermia before you ever reach the shore. He was right.
