Yahoo Mail's interface has changed, and if you are among those that preferred how it looked before, then don't worry, you can change it. This tutorial will show you how to revert to the classic Yahoo Mail view.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Alienware, Razer, MSI, Huawei , Microsoft Surface, and Samsung.

I figured out how to get it back, well a close version of basic. Find the settings on the LEFT side (not the the right side like they say). Under the column where your inbox is, below "files" where the 3 dots are. Then there is a button to switch to basic yahoo mail!! so much better. Hope yall can find it too!

This new yahoo is awful. Most of my inbox mysteriously disappeared to my trashcan. Took me forever to restore them back to my inbox. Glad, I caught it, there were some very important email. Also, can't even find the settings option. This new yahoo is bad news...

No longer an option. Yahoo pulled the plug on classic. You either have to accept the old "new" or the new "new, " which is utter garbage. You may as well take this video down. It's outdated.

This "magic" switch overnight to the new version is a horrible way to force users to use it!! I would never agree to the switch had I been asked. In addition, thanks to this comment section, I finally figured out how to switch back, as even the video instructions I watched were not correct. Thanks to those who posted helpful instructions, it is much appreciated.

They do not have this any more. Gone is the "Go back to the old Yahoo Mail" tab. Now they just allow you to "Give Feed Back".

So upset, not even this is an option any more. You can go to settings and switch to "basic yahoo" which looks better but isn't the same. Plus there's no option for the previous themes available. Why take away our choice...Sucks.
