ΦΛΟΓΑ WUSHU TEAM 7 APRIL 2019

Celebrating #April6 (International Day of Sport for Development and Peace #IDSDP2019) and participating in the #WhiteCard campaign with our "Kung Fu for Peace and Friendship" event in Acharnes, Athens, Greece.
On April 7 2019 our team “Flame” organised a sport event for Friendship and Peace. Our team is made up of 4 sport clubs: a) Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Sports Club Acharnes, Athens, coach Konstantinos Athanasiou b) Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Sport Club Pyrgos and Floga Sport Club Ancient Olympia coaches Grigoris Stamatopoulos and Angeliki Kakali, c) Shaolin Kung Fu Melission A.C. Coach Apostolis Tsevas.
All coaches are actively involved in integrating people of all ages, of different backgrounds, with different learning needs in almost every class, every day. That is why we invited three wushu kung fu coaches to participate in our event with their athletes: Kostas Moukas, Giannis Dedes and Christos Damaskos.
We chose to host our sport event on April 7th, to celebrate this day because we believe that sport is the way towards peace, equity and inclusion, and we prove it every day in our clubs and slowly but steadily, in our federation.
