Kevin Estre flat out on damp Nürburgring - 273km/h!

Another incredible lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, 7:07 BTG in cold (10c), damp conditions with Nürburgring legend, Porsche factory race driver, Kevin Estre, in the new 992 GT3 RS with Weissach package! This was a charity lap (which I paid full price for) to raise money for the Du Sport et Plus childrens' charity, on the Manthey Racing track day on the 23rd October 2023. This GT3 RS is a development car loaned by Porsche for the day. It was on brand new (cold) Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport R tyres, which took a while to bed in/warm up.
We hit 274km/h just before Scwedenkreuz, and a crazy 265km/h through Foxhole!

That’s a pretty much about as hot a lap you’re going to get for a passenger ride, those new tyres really did need scrubbing to get the grip in them initially, he was turning the wheel and nothing was happening to start with! I would love that experience, although I’d be sh##ing myself the entire lap….he was probably at about 80% pace there, amazing to think of it going even quicker.

My 992 GT3 RS is GT Silver Metallic (as is my GT4 RS). From the thumbnail, this one looks like Dolomite Silver Metallic, like my 992 GT3 (manual). I love it...hint of icy blue in it. I initially spec'd my 992 GT3 RS with Azurro Thetys Metallic, but Porsche got backlogged on PTS and I didn’t want to wait several more months.
