The judges ultimately scored a unanimous decision in favor of Haney, with scores of 116-112, 116-112, and 115-113, though I personally scored the fight wider, 117-111.

Post-match, Haney insisted he was never hurt and expressed readiness to unify against Teofimo Lopez if the opportunity arises.

Bambi legs! Still kept punching! This and the Lomachenko fight probably did a lot for Haney. He learned a lot from these fights. Linares is still a badass! Great video.

Looking back at this, we see 3 things: 1. No real defense for the left hook (Ryan's best/fastest/hardest punch) 2. a really questionable chin, he was really wobbled, and Linares not hitting like Garcia, or Tank. 3. The speed/footwork is good, but not fast enough to evade Garcia... So while Devin looks great against smaller and slower fighters, anyone with hand speed and a little power beats him, like we saw Ryan do.
