I feel like when you spend on quality items they should be able to last longer. For example, I like Lululemon because the fabric holds it's shape and is durable. I had jackets and leggings for a year now, wear them every other week and they still look like new. And even if you are broke you can still shop at a thrift store in a rich neighborhood. The wealthy women there are just throwing away quality items.

Some comments saying to splurge on outerwear. You can still get high quality coats for cheap that the thrift store. I got 3...and I just send them to the dry cleaners. I look fancy in my $15 coat.
