Yes, it is sad that Brian Thompson is not getting the same reverence expressed for others who live a more common American experience. Luigi Mangione is not a hero, because he shot him, people are expressing the utter frustration with healthcare. If they can afford it, they can only respond to a call center in India or the Philippines or some low paid worker whose job it is to appease the callers. Deaf ears. All while UHC and the like, go to dinners and conferences to declare how healthy the company is for their shareholders. Then see the smirk of the GOP when they say the American people voted for this. then state it was the American people who want this. This shooting is a leak of the frustration felt in the US into a public forum. This murder is an outlet. The sadness of Brian Thompson is public. The sadness of the people bearing the burden of healthcare is private and simmering.
