Hopefully, you will try adding more of this hue to your wardrobe, and not just in the form of another white shirt or pocket square. White embodies the spirit of summer, and in cold weather, you can still wear winter white on sunny days to brighten up the season. You do have to be somewhat outgoing to wear it, especially in our drab casual culture, but if you’re well dressed, you’ll stand out anyway, so add some individual panache and boldly put on white.

I love wearing white trousers all year long (S/S and sunny A/W days). The film The Great Beauty also taught me that white trousers with a dark jacket in the evening is such a fun way to present myself.

To address the issue of the pockets showing through the white cloth, I found that a cotton canvas fabric works perfect for this. The pockets don't show through, the trouser legs drape nicely, and I've found is it still very breathable in hotter weather.

My high school put together a last-minute Spring Formal ball; I had already acquired a vintage '40s tux in black with all the necessary accessories and formalities of a tux for the summer Prom. Thusly, I decided an off-white dinner jacket to change things up was perfect for the Spring ball. Least to say, it did turn some heads, and it was quite new and interesting to wear such a bold colour than my usual dark suits.

I find white/off-white chinos to be a great perennial option as an Arizonan. Pairs nicely with basically any color and you can go exceptionally bold and look put together in a classical manner or go restrained but still feel comfortable and sharper looking than most other people.
