I ended up marrying a girl that I had saved her life before. I witnessed a serious car crash once, head on, I rushed in to help, long story short I had to cut the seat belts with my EDC knife because they wouldn't budge and i could smell gas everywhere, I pulled her out and made maybe 10m away from the car when it burst in flames (drunk driver from the other car ofc just exited his car and sat on the sidewalk), about a year later I had a tinder date and this girl asked me if she should be worried about my knife on a date, I told her the story and she said that she been In this situation and this dude patching up her broken and bleeding legs was cracking the sexual jokes the whole time to try to keep her awake and she remembers "I hope you like bondage because I need to tie your legs together okay" and well.... Turned out this dumb fucker who copes with stress by jokes is me, also turned out she does like it so this dumb fucker is lucky haha

“I was too young to get involved.”
“I put her in my car and sped to the photographer.”
*Huh?*

OP was only 17 but travelling at that speed with a kid in the car was incredibly reckless.

This actually almost happened to me in highschool. My mom and dad were going through a divorce, and my dad decided to try and pull this shot cause my sister and I didn't want to be around him. We were in high school, and my sister DROVE to school that day and we car pooled with a friend. I had the class I was pulled from with said friend so I immediately knew something was wrong. Texted my mom asking if she had called for mi dismissal, and she said no. I stayed in the bathroom for a few minutes but eventually I had to go to the office. I went and saw my dad, and I went out the building before I started to talk and ask him why he was here. He gave shit answers and I fucking told him "I'm not going with you." and went back inside the school.

The fucked up part? The school almost tried to MAKE ME GO WITH HIM until I broke down into tears because I was both super pissed at them and pretty fucking freaked out.

My son 7 and was on some medication. For some reason his heart rate dropped and he got really lethargic. We ended up calling 911 for an ambulance. My husband wasn’t home at the time. He was in his truck on a work thing. The ambulance ended up taking my son to the hospital, but it wasn’t an emergency, so they just drove normally to the hospital. My husband was trying to get home and I called and told him to meet me at the hospital. He got into the turning lane and his tire went up on the lane curb, which tipped the truck about six inches in the back and he went to the hospital. We both got to the hospital about the same time, as the ambulance wheeled my son into the ER. He has Autism, so they let me back while they unloaded him. We heard the ambulance driver explaining that a truck with a rack scraped along the entire upper side of the ambulance and kept going. Then they said the name of the company on the truck and asked them to call the number on the truck and my husbands phone started ringing!😂 He hadn’t heard the scraping at all! When they all realized my husband was the truck and they had our son inside of the ambulance, it was hilarious!🤯🤣

There was a story on Reddit a few years ago about how a friend and OP managed to call each other on the exact same time on two separate occasions. They were so spot on that there was no pause because they literally did it in sync. I thought to myself, “that’s cool.”

A few years down the line, my friend and I are playing Stardew Valley. I tell him to call me via DMs in Discord. We both call and wait for a few seconds before we realized we did it on the exact same time. We did it one more time afterwards. Since then, we haven’t been able to recreate it. Not many people believe us because it’s very similar to the original Reddit story.

Worked at a restaurant near my hometown. One night having drinks after work the Sous Chef, a server and myself were talking. Come to find out we were all adopted. Then we figured out all of our adoptive dad's worked together. Then we found out that we were all at a dinner party together back in the 80's.

I was at a free party (illegal outdoor rave) and quite hammered. I was about to walk the Camino Di Santiago starting the following week and was hugging my best friend while I told him I'm gonna walk 500 miles starting next week, and halfway through that sentence a dance version of 'i would walk 500 miles' was mixed in by the DJ.

I was at the train station after a long day at college when i was briefly thinking about two of my friends. One of them showed up about 5 seconds later by pure chance, and 5 seconds after that, the other friend happened to be at the same exact place aswell.

once I asked my sister what was her favorite bird, she was four years old and we were chatting, and when she said, as in our language it's called Bem-te-vi, one landed right on top of the fence behind her. It was so coincindently beautiful that I had no reaction besides be amazed

I had a friend online when I was about 10 and found out one day that he lived in my town. Not only that, he was in my sisters class and they had the same birthday. I met him when my dad put together a double birthday party for him and my sister.

We were close for a while but grew apart. Later, we both had abusive significant others and broke up with them in the same week. We then both reached out to eachother on the same day on different social media platforms.

Weve been together a year now and ill always be greatful for Little Big Planet (The game we met on)

When I was around 8 or 9 years old, my grandparents took my brother and I to Yellowstone. While we were at Old Faithful I can remember seeing a lady running towards us waiving frantically. I didn't really recognize her, but turns out she was my brothers teacher the year before and would be mine following that year. My grandma always volunteered at our elementary school and those 2 became close friends. We lived in Vegas and neither side knew the other was going to be there.
Fast forward a couple years. I was 12 or 13 years old and was out deer hunting with my dad. We were making our way through the cedar trees when we stumbled upon another man with his kid (gotta love public land.) It was mid day and so we stopped and chatted a little. Throughout the conversation, the other man kept insisting he knew my dad from somewhere. Trying to figure out, he asked if my dad was from Las Vegas. My dad was like yeah, we are. Henderson specifically. The other man said him to. Then the conversation got it narrowed down to the closest major road crossings, then by the neighborhood area and then a near by jr hight school. By that time, the man had a stone frozen look on his face and asked, "...do you live on Kirk Street..?"
Long story short, the dude lived literally 6 houses up from us on the same damn street. We lived in Henderson, NV and this little event happened outside of Ely, NV, almost 300 miles away.

He was too young to remember his uncle’s divorce but old enough to drive his niece? Come on, this is fake.

I wouldn’t call this as much of a coincidence as just fucking weird but, I used to have dreams about normal everyday things day, months or even YEARS before they happened. When the moment I dreamt about happened I would always remember the dream and immediately go back to it. I was the weirdest thing ever.

I probably have two. I was in the states, 3, 000 miles away from my home (UK), I got chatting to a guy about racing and he's telling me about this particular race series he watches and this one quirky car/driver he's fascinated by....he was talking about my dad.
Second, I'm in a field in Wales (about 100 miles away from home), I meet a girl, not only is she from the same village as me, I knew both her sisters, she was friends with my brother, she had even visited my home, her parents went to school with mine, and our Grandparents were close friends for years. Yet it took is 24 years to bump into eachother. We've now been together for more than 3 years.

I was on a 8 hour car journey from Scotland to Wales (this was my first time since i was about 5 so it was as if i had never been to Scotland before). I turned on a playlist which had 68 songs in it. I put it on shuffle, and a few songs in, Nuclear Family by Green Day started playing. And as we passed by an abonded theme park with an old ferris wheel in it the lyrics: " gonna ride the world like a merry go round,
Like a ferris wheel and it's breaking down" played. Just as we passed the ferris wheel.

kind of a long story but worth it. my mom was a nurse for almost 10 years. she would always tell me stories of her two best friends at work, kerri and sandy. my moms name was also carrie, so kerri started calling her nurse owens. it stuck. my mom had 3 kids by the time she was 24. kerri was younger than my mom, and had 2 kids that were quite a bit younger than me and my brothers, so i never met them. when i was in first grade my mom was diagnosed with a chronic illness called pseudo tumor cerebi, and had to stop working. she had terrible migraines, fatigue, and only developed more health issues as time went on. a lot of her friends had abandoned her or just fell out of touch. she had tons of other issues like seizures and blood clots, and had her right arm amputated at the elbow. in 2020, she passed away unexpectedly, presumably from a heart attack. i was super close with my mom, she was a fighter and my best friend. nothing was more devastating for me than her death. a few months later, i started talking to someone at school. their name was piper, they were in the grade below me. i wasn’t even thinking about dating at the time, but something about them was just too good to be true. they told me all about their family, including their favorite bubbly aunt, who had cute pink hair and worked as a nurse. her name was kerri. i cried so much when i found out that piper was her niece. i now had a connection to one of my mom’s best friends, who coined her most iconic nickname. i couldn’t stop thinking about just how small the world is. a year later, piper and i are still together, and aunt kerri loves the hell out of me. kerri’s kids are sweethearts and i get to see them almost every thanksgiving and christmas! best coincidence of my life, i just wish my mom was still here to see it💙
