Bass trombone audition excerpts: 'The Ride of the Valkyries', by Richard Wagner

Part of my series of the most common orchestral/opera excerpts requested for auditions. Filmed in Opera North's Howard Assembly Room (Leeds, UK) these videos have been created as a study aid for my students at the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester, UK), but I am happy for them to be shared with anyone who finds them useful.

I've seen Christian Jones on the LPO channel. Christian, you did a brilliant job explaining the bass trombone, and you're a very impressive player (of course, how else would you get into such a prestigious orchestra?). I do love this piece as well.
