When you combine two of the greatest shooters ever with a 7 footer who also happens to be an incredible shooter, and is one of the best scorers in history, it’s hard to compete. Straight up, woulda won a lot more if injuries didn’t curse the warriors.

I was upset when KD joined the Warriors cause he ruined a rivalry that would've rivaled the 80s Lakers/Celtics. No one talks about KD's 2 Finals MVPs cause that team had arguably the 3 best shooters all time

If you are really a competitor then after the initial shock you are going to want to go up against thr most talented team like he said. It's like playing pick-up ball at the rec. Sometimes some of the best guys ended up on the same team because the guy picking second didn't know how to pick a squad lol or he would pick up his friends out of loyalty. People don't realize that Lebron and Chris Paul were the reason KD was able to join the Warriors because they were instrumental in having the salary cap expanded all in one season instead of smoothed over several seasons so they could get those $40 million contracts..

I remember sitting in front of the tv when they had the list of possible teams he could go to. I saw the warriors on the screen & was like no way he goes there. Told my brother sitting next to me he’s either going to the C’s or the Wizards. I could not believe my eyes & ears when they announced he decided to go to the warriors

As a C’s fan, I remember that summer, I was thinking in my head, “lol why is he even meeting the Warriors??? Why is that even an option? But there’s no way he’d go there anyway. They just beat him and he’s gonna leave OKC for them? That would be unfair for the NBA and he knows it. And his legacy will be tarnished. He’s definitely coming to Boston. It makes a lot of sense for him.”

Shump is the perfect person to be a sports analyst, might not be the biggest numbers guy but he understands the little things in the sport and how to articulate himself so even the most mundane of stories is interesting to the listener.
