Welcome to episode 3 of my FM24 Saving Southend story. We begin our one club story with Southend United in non-league. We have a points deduction, transfer embargo and a threadbare squad, but can we stay up in our first season before heading on a road to glory? In episode 3, we head to Halifax Town in a dramatic game after some huge board takeover news!

i have had a goal keeper go off with a broken finger, then a bruised wrist after that i learned to put a keeper on the bench, i like that keepers now get injured but it does seem to happen a little to much so may need tweaking, again tho i love the content keep up the fantastic videos always enjoy watching both series on the daily

I've had a couple goalkeeper injuries already, definitely seems to be a big change as I never had them in 23

Doing a Southend save also, as it’s my local team. Ndi Broken leg, David Martin dislocated shoulder from pre season to 3 games in 😂😂

there definitely has been a massive increase in gk injuries looking around social media, it's incredibly annoying lol

You need a sub keeper this year, in just a few days playing FM24 I’ve had 3 keeper injuries…

1 for 6-8 months and then 2 for 2-4 weeks

bit of chaos, why not. I always have a keeper on the bench but it does seem a bug during the beta with the frequency

I so far haven't had a GK injury, but during a Irish First division game against Antholine Town, their keeper broke his arm during a dive

Sky sports say they have suoer sunday they lie the real super Sunday is load fm stream then fm vid

I've not had one goalkeeper injury in a season and a half, so I think you've just been unlucky

GK injury frequency has definitely been messed with by SI.
Wish they'd also fix DoF to sign young players for youth teams when you set responsibility for DoF to sign players. Also, scouting is still awful

Keeper thing seems to be in the Beta, sorry early release. If it is something that needs a fix, will it carry onto saves that have been started, or will this save file forever have the keeper issue?

This is probably some of the worst luck I've seen so far in any FM story. Let's hope those emergency goal keepers can do their job
