When this phone came out, I was in my final year of high school, one of the girls in my class had this phone and I was totally mesmerised by it, I thought it was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t understand why Sharp didn’t take off as a tech company, you don’t really hear about them these days, But I don’t see why today’s phones can’t be just like this. Why do we still have bezels in 2024????

Thanks for showing this. It is very refreshing to see a company do something completely different. Though this is a midrange low spec phone the design makes it look more premium than some of the highend high spec phones. Kudos to Sharp for thinking outside the box for a change relative to other OEM's. Oh also glad to see the cast finally off your hand.
