Benilde-St. Margaret's vs. Hill-Murray Boys Hockey / March 10th, 2012

Destiny was fulfilled in front of a record crowd at the Xcel Energy Center, as the Red Knights won the class AA state championship over the Pioneers of Hill-Murray, 5-1.

Jack Jablonski sat in a suite, overlooking his teammates from his wheelchair, as they took to the ice. What he witness was nothing less than an awe inspiring performance from junior Grant Besse, who scored all five of Benilde's goals.

ya we sat next to jack jablonski in the suite next to him...we talked with his parents and the people running the tournament wouldnt let him out on the ice because he was sick...im pretty sure he was waiting in the locker room tho

all that this is gonna do is really gonna help grant get noticed. 5 goals in 1 game and not even against a scrub team this was a championship caliber team that grant had a 5 goal game against. Absolutely amazing Grant good job! he will really get noticed now and is gonna be a first round pick in 2013 or 2014(which ever one is his draft year)

It is too bad they did not let Jack Jackblonski join the the team for the trophy presentation on thice. It would been a moving moment with the standing ovation he would have gotten.

John Dugas is actually really good i'm guessing the nerves got to him early before the game then after the first couple goals he started to shut down. I mean being a high school goalie getting scored on 3 times by the same guy in the championship probably embarrassed him just because he isnt used to that kind of pressure. You can't judge until you assess the situation.
