Calls for release of Aung San Suu Kyi after Myanmar coup

There are growing calls around the world for the release of Myanmar's elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who remains under arrest a day after the army seized power in a coup.

Activist groups have been calling for civil disobedience against the military leaders.

The UN Security Council is holding an emergency meeting to decide its response, while the United States has threatened to reimpose sanctions.

China should help partitioning Myanmar by annexing Northern Myanmar. Or at least allowing Kachin, Karen, Shan, Kokang Chinese, Chin and Rakhine free from Myanmar.

We must remember the Myanmar regime has persecuted Chinese since 1967. When China sent aids to help Myanmar at the time the West sanctioned her, she responded by sending troops attacking Chinese and our allies.
