IIHS & Safety Testing (Map) - BeamNG.drive

I included the word map because the name of the map makes it sound like I am doing tests, but I'm reviewing the map (How confusing). Although I could do a video for testing as well if there is interest.

Hey YBR! I would love to see a video where you "recreate" actual crashes within BeamNG.drive. There are so many cool (non-fatal) car crashes on YouTube which you could work from. Then, you can set up the same conditions / scene in-game, and take the role of one car, and try and recreate the crash. Thanks!

It's insane how realistic BeamNG is. The one where he drove the van for the suspension test, I do that all the time offroading. My car looks just like that.

it's kind of cool how the SBR is designed so the whole front is like a super crumple zone because it has nothing in it and the rest of the structure is super reinforced

The ramp you went over last with the moonhawk is called an RTI ramp and you were right because it is for off-road vehicles.

+WhyBeAre You are a little mixed up with "suspension" and "front end alignment". Suspension takes place with the compression of the shocks and springs, and the front end alignment is making sure both wheels are guiding the vehicle in a straight line, or to fix the front end alignment when one wheel is not aligned with the other, just like when you were doing the barrier test. Honestly I am not trying to one-up or anything, just wanted to point it out so you know the exact definition. You learn new things every day so if you have gotten comments calling you dumb at all or anything (haven't seen one so far which is great), Ignore them, there is a reason why people get educated, and that is to build knowledge to use for the future. One person will know a thing or two that the other may not, and that is why you educate them so they can learn from their mistakes, if making a mistake at all. I must say you do a good job on your videos, so keep up the good work! Beamng Drive is one of my favorites so ill be watching quite a bit of the Beamng Drive videos.

The only thing is, that most of those cars in real life dont have airbags, so it wouldnt really matter if u got crushed or not, your head would probably it the dashboard or the steering wheel, causing u to be seriously injured or die.

When I got in a front end collision in my old Prelude, my back windows blew out. Sometimes it's just the force of the frame against the glass that does it, or perhaps the frame tweaking a certain way?
