Bought 3½-year old ex-Motability Jan18 Titanium X automatic 49k miles 5 weeks ago. Done 2k miles: London North Wales, 2 people clothes, heavy duty tools, carbon fibre bike, and pick up 2.4 metre fence posts; London Dorset 4 adults, clothes, swimming, running gear, drop chickens off at sitter; also London Birmingham, London Hastings. All in summer heat loving the aircon and sun roof (not same time). Not yet carried 6 passengers. Stunningly suitable for our needs. Wonderfully sedate drive for me and passengers. Previous owner's satnav favourites show he mostly did long motorway journeys. Never driven automatic before but left foot pains made me check out the option. D mode is fine for economy but the gear changes are weird and not ideal, especially when cresting a rise in town traffic. Using S mode not as 'sport' but as 'stay in lower gear' to control low speed in, eg, downhill 20mph in traffic in town - have now got used to swapping between D and S modes as a rough equivalent to using a manual car and it works great. I, wife, and everyone whose been in it, love it. AWD and 190bhp for narrow lanes in North Wales in winter might have been useful but that version is rare on the used market, less economical in general use, and we didn't have time to wait for one we could afford. Recommended to us by two neighbours and we strongly agree. Expecting to use as microbus for elderly friends and relatives on days out and church weekend-aways. Also to take tools, buy and pick up stuff for jobs on friend and family homes over 200 miles from us. Brilliant!

I've tried both S-Max and the Galaxy, I purchased the Galaxy.
The Galaxy is only 2 inches longer, but ask a woman, two more inches make a difference !
I'm 6.1F (186cm) and I can sit on all seats, even on the 3rd row.
When the second and third rows are down, I can even lie down (it's about 2m)
The downside of owning such car being parking ! Good luck finding a place to park in town !

I rented this car with my family on my trip to the Czech Republic in the summer of 2019. This car is wonderful with a 4 cylinder diesel engine and can accommodate 7 people, and it was economical in fuel and accelerating excellently.

I love the Galaxy, it's one of my favorite cars, I have one here in Dubai, it's a 2017 Titanium model, I imported it to Dubai. My daily driver is a 2002 Subaru WRX Estate.

1:24 Nahhh just get the 2.0 240ps petrol. Much better value for money. Diesel don't make any sense at all.
