A scientist discovered that dumping iron shavings in the ocean caused the marine life in those parts to increase rapidly due to the phitoplankton increase from the iron. He got in trouble for dumping iron in the ocean without permission but proved a way to heal the oceans, now it's being studied to make sure there are no long term side negative side effects.
