You Won’t Believe What The US Just Did With Hydrogen! This Changes Everything!

Показать описание
Hydrogen is a gas that needs very high pressure to become a liquid, which makes it costly and inefficient for transportation. Imagine if we could turn hydrogen into a solid instead. That's what a startup company claims to have done, solving the hydrogen storage problem and opening new possibilities for e-mobility applications such as buses, trains, ships and cars. With solid hydrogen, you don't need to plug in your vehicle like a battery. You just need to refill it with hydrogen fuel cell, which converts hydrogen into electricity.

While the combustion of hydrogen does not produce carbon dioxide, it does produce water vapor which is an even bigger greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. So, I'm not sure why the big fuss over green hydrogen.

I hope this is possible, where metal hydride storage systems can be refilled with hydrogen without the need to swap them out, similar to refilling a fuel tank at a gas station. However, this process might a bit different from refueling a conventional gasoline or diesel vehicle.

"They say..."
Any numbers on electricity consumption of the laser? Per kg of released hydrogen?
And what about a comparison with good old "normal" metal hydride storage? Which only needs heat to release the hydrogen (less complicated).
@1:21: "Hydrogen is a gas that needs very high pressure to become a liquid."
You don't get liquid hydrogen by pressurizing it, you have to cool it down.
Pressurized hydrogen like in the tanks of hydrogen cars is gaseous hydrogen. Similar to pressurized natural gas (gaseous) in CNG-cars.

When you learn the center field of a magnetic force you won't be doing it that way. First off you need to use the inductive properties of copper in the water in a saw tooth wave form at the correct frequency, not a sign wave. Once you do this you will be on overload with the output of hydrogen. The center field energy from a magnet and the copper inductive field combine to disconnect the two molecules of water!!

This sounds promising. However when will someone realize than an even better way to store hydrogen would be to combine it with carbon from the air to make hydrocarbons which would be carbon neutral and could be sold from existing petrol stations and used in existing cars!

I still contend that if they spend the time, money, and energy that has been spent on electric vehicles, the current technology with hydrogen would be way more advanced than it is currently. And how about hydrogen to power electric motors? That would solve the inefficiency of ICE powered vehicles. Be interesting to see how the technology evolves here.

Solid Hydrogen will put Big Oil out of Business! Get it now, you can make Hydrogen in your kitchen with two spoons and a bucket of water!

What if you had a solar redox battery that had a battery fluid that flowed into a clear panel that used sunlight for a photo-catalytic reaction to recharge a solar redox battery.

To make this work You need to store a lot of H2 on just one disk. 2Gramme of H2 occupies 24 Litres at 1 atm and 0 centigrade. So no I don't believe this.

If it is via ility is established as a best way to store and easy of transport and use it without any problems of safety and no environmental degradation. Definitely it looks to be possible with dedicated continuous efforts in that direction will give you the possibility within short period. Do it with confidence it will be through.❤

If hydrogen is so much better converted to electricity, why they don't convert into electricity LPG?

look up on wikipedia bio hydrogen, made via algae, sunlight + photosynthesis into hydrogen.

A massive percentage of this video is sourced from so many others on the topic, but worse is that it's lacking in profoundly new information. I get that H2 stored on disc to be released by light in the form of laser is novel although this video only vaguely touches on the H2 capture component, but like so many other contenders that either use adsorption or even absorption chemistry to carry and hold H2 which is released by heat or other excitation methods does not constitute 'solid hydrogen' IMO. That's a gimmick term. My personal dream and about the only embodiment that would entice me to give up my beloved IC engines which only require tethering all those greasy moving parts to a gas pump about every 400 miles or so is not going to be satisfied with BEV. It will be onboard production of H2 vis-a-vis cool breakthrough technology likely coupled with intermediate H2 storage in so-called "solid" form to be released on demand to the H2 Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (HSOFC) that both tops off the Na-Ion battery which is driving the cool breakthrough H2 production and also driving the electric motor(s) of my HFCEV of course. Does anyone really believe the powers-that-be who claim all this will save the planet would ever allow just anyone with a heartbeat to only have to saddle up to a demineralized water pump for us to run around to our heart's content for only the cost of the HFCEV and a little di-hydrogen monoxide? Skeptical is an understatement.

Nano tecnology was a fad according to many but now with nano tecnologies this i believe would be possible .Solar cells are now a reality and so are robotics .He who has the vision will be ahead of its times .Hydrogen is very hard and expensive to store but this new theory seems very interesting as plasma gasification of waste using microwaves why not use lazers to decompose hydrogen at a molecular level and reverse the process by adding the electrons and reforming the hydrogen to use it as fuel as waste can be turn into a singas by changing the molecular structure.Data in a disk is not erase simply you remove a code but the data istill there so why not apply the same theory rearanging the molecular structure in the hydrogen and using a disk as if it where data ?

The problem is not other viable fuels to propel the ICE. The real problem is the Internal Combustion Engine, the most inefficient, wasteful, complex, power unit known to man, that the traditional auto makers incapable to build efficient BEV close to Tesla, are trying to keep the old technology alive. But the literate consumers have discovered the far more efficient, lighter, far more reliable electric motors that power Tesla BEV and they would never go back to any forms of the old ICE contraptions including the surrogate Hybrids. So dear OEM if you want to survive in the car business better start working very hard at putting together something close to a Tesla, because when the entire truth is revealed, the Hydrogen BS story is not going to save your ass.

Has anyone seen the SOLID HYDROGEN Bicycle out of China? It only uses 3 grams of hydrogen in solid state and gets over 50 miles per fill?
