I usually love your makeovers but this one missed the mark for me. The cool locker wall should have been the inspiration for the whole space, but because each area has its own vibe (locker wall vs curtains vs table) and none of it ties together, it just feels odd. The previous table was really practical, this is a dining table! I would have liked to have seen the wallpaper wall updated and the locker colours brought into the rest of the space via styling and DIY art-inspired curtains. The neutrals just don’t work.

I do like the new table but I would have been on team Kelsey, reserved about shrinking the size of the table especially when you want to add more seating. If the big table was gonna get the chop, I might have wanted to try rounding the edges of the big table to mimic the shape of the new table but with more space. Still a great end result, and I love the final touch of adding hardware to your faux door spot fillers. 👏

I feel like there's a perfect opportunity to add a smol, mini office behind the blue, fake panel. The overall vibes are amazing! Impressed at how cozy it still feels with all the office stuff and metal cabinets.

PLEAAAASE paint the back wall behind the cabinets and tv, maybe a deep burnt orange or a dark red wine shade? It would tie the table and cabinets together and make the space flow more. I love it all though!!!

I was yelling at the screen for you to just give the big table top some rounded edges 🤪 and then maybe have painted it or the pedestals.. I feel like more space is always better... But the general vibe is great and the cabinet wall looks amazing!!

For the work table: if I was a an employee I'd prefer the bigger table so it feels more like you have you own little space instead of one big table where it feels more like you're at school doing a project

Not my fav look you’ve done. Looks like 2 styles. The curtains, rounded table and leather seating are so different from the metal boxes, chairs and writing board.

As someone who works at a table all day everyday - I would be furious if someone would downsize the amount of workspace I had.

I was hoping you will remove the wallpaper experiment behind the TV. The locker wall is great though. I think you should switch the ceiling lamp with a more colorful one to bring the whole room together.

Personally, the color story is seeming a bit too random with the new beige paint & cool grey wallpaper/stucco! One really intentional way to go bold/eclectic is by matching the undertones of all of your colors. It will feel much more cohesive if you can decide on a color palette undertone, then add in pops that compliment or contrast from there.

The new table is beautiful but, imo, it's small for so many people.

I don’t normally comment on anything. But man. Idk….. I’m not sure I like a single thing that changed. 😬. Maybe this makeover deserves a second chance revamp!

The filing cabinet wall is SO cool; creative and functional perfection. Your team's commitment to second-hand is everything, thank you for making it so real and approachable !!

Omg what if Kelsey did a miniature installation in the space where the blue rectangle is?? That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw that cubby!

idk i love the round table and the vibes but the biggest problem was space i thought 😭 i was genuinely surprised when the big one was even cut in half

I would personally hang a couple of different knobs under the writing board for the bags, useful cable, snacks and so on. The space under the writing board is a bit challenging and unused.

The before was better than the after. This Design style is like “early bachelor college student”.

I think it needs a massive center piece like a unique chandelier.

I like the shape of the new table but think it can get cramped really quickly due to the downsizing especially with many arms, doesn't seem like there will be much personal space. And if you want to add more people, it could get realll tight fast. Feels like people will be wondering off to little corners of the office to get work done if they want just a bit more room. It already looks a little tight with 4 pax towards the end, imagine if everyone got their laptop out, a few water bottle or glass of water and a mouse or two, that's arm to arm. Unless the norm is not a full house in the office, this doesn't seem very functional. Aesthetic sure, but not very functional.

The old table looks taller than the new one, I noticed the chair arms hit the edge of the new table and can’t be tucked in with the arms down which would drive me insane, both when in use and when not in use. I would’ve without a doubt kept the old table. More space, more practical
