Trailer: What is the difference in Epoxy and Polyurethane in concrete crack injections?

Epoxy and Polyurethane are used to fix foundation cracks in homes. There are a few distinct differences between these products, mainly the longevity, ease in training, and ability to re-service should the crack leak again.

Main things to know are that Epoxy will last longer and typically have a call-back rate 1/10th that of Polyurethane. Epoxy does, however, require more training with technicians in order to perform the repair correctly. Finally, if a Polyurethane crack re-opens, most of the time it is required to go back and dig out the crack from the exterior, a much more expensive proposition.
