I love Pete Thorn. I’m a bassist first, a song guy, and Pete’s playing is always so musical even when he’s just shredding. That opening bit, he went into this very Pink Floyd descending melodic major scale thing that was just lovely.

hey pete. awesome composition. this video is as much of a songwriting & guitar tone tutorial as it is a pedal demo. 👍 Can you comment on the XLR & ground lift on this pedal. Ive had the unfortunate experience of playing a stage with a guitar amp plugged into a bad ground and getting continually shocked by the microphone while playing & singing. basically getting electrocuted. Does XLR (instead of instrument cable) resolve this problem, because XLR is balanced with optional ground lift? As much as anyone might say, the stage should be properly grounded, I no longer trust any random dive bar or random outside event stage not to electrocute me. I thought of going wireless to eliminate any possibility of bad electricity potential but wireless adds its own problems. But I think XLR with lifted ground would eliminate the possibility of ever having a shock potential.

I like your way of showing these pedals and your melodies are incredibly fast and tasteful!
I have a question in addition to my previous question, which is a serious question by the way. I know this is a hi gain pedal but I like the features, separate reverb, headphone function, xlr and quarter inch out, bost after amp not before, tuner, good stuff!
But can you get decent low gain sounds out of it? My second question, if you have the time for one more is, can you engage water and fire at the same time?
Cheers!
