Looks great. I want to add this to my hallway in a diffuser. But the plug is in the middle of the wall. Anyway to split in two directions? Do I need the controller? Less cables to try and hide/ stick above the molding.

Can you use the custom colors, under the music sensitive section, so like only have it banding or flashing just RED and no other colors? Thanks man, best video so far on the Govee M1 btw.

Awesome. A couple of questions.

1) Will the previous non-matter branded version of the M1 also get matter via firmware update?
2) Can it be integrated into HomeKit now or not yet?
3) Would these light strips work if you plugged them into an outlet that was controlled by a light switch? Presumably you switch the light switch on and then control the colors in Homekit or the Govee app?
4) What if the above scenario with the light switch also had a dimmer on it?

Just a quick question, can you still cut this a little bit shorter? And it then sees thats its shorter in the app ?

Question - I don't have good lighting in my room and there is no connection for a ceiling light. I am thinking of installing led light strips around the ceiling with a diffuser. Is GoVee M1 a good option? If not, can someone suggest a better option?

I would like to know if u can make your own scenes and name then as u like and then control it with alexa. Because i want to make myself a cloud roof and want to tell my alexa for exampel "sunrise" and then my costum setting will start. Is that possible?
