Discover Aarhus, Denmark’s coastal treasure, as we dive into the city’s unique blend of cozy charm, stunning architecture, and relaxed Scandinavian vibe. As the final Danish port on our Ultimate World Cruise, Aarhus exceeded our expectations with its welcoming atmosphere and local flavor. From biking along scenic routes to uncovering the Danish art of smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) paired with a refreshing local beer, this city offers the perfect mix of tradition and modern design.

Walk with us as we follow the iconic “blue line” guiding tourists through Aarhus’ vibrant town center. Along the way, explore the fascinating Aarhus Cathedral, marvel at the innovative Iceberg building, and meet friendly local volunteers eager to share city secrets, like Aarhus’ hidden underground river. Our journey takes us to quaint streets in the Latin Quarter, bustling Sunday markets, and a rooftop garden that reveals panoramic views over this beautiful city.

Whether you’re planning a trip to Denmark or just love travel inspiration, Aarhus will charm you with its authentic Danish feel, fewer crowds, and relaxed pace. Make sure to subscribe to join us on our next adventure as we set sail for Oslo, Norway, with more incredible sights to come!

Another well done video. My wife is from Aarhus and we’ve been visiting for years. I think you captured the city very well. I’m really glad you made it to Salling Rooftop. Best entertainment value in town.

We were there in September. WE loved all the volunteers who were happy to suggest places to see. Nice quiet day after busy Copenhagen. WE had fun in a local grocery store…always interesting.

Another great vlog and another lovely European city - they are all so beautiful! But tiring - you manage to stay really upbeat when sometimes I'm guessing you must be 'citied out'!

you should´ve checked out the open air museum which goes through the history of the city from the middle ages to modern day. It´s very interactive with plenty of actors and buildings to explore in and out ;)

I am one of those who find Copenhagen too crowded and too overrated.
Live the small town feel of Aarhus.
And it’s lovely open areas in and around town. With open air museums of contepory art.

Å = AA, så now you know the sound of Å.
Æ and Ø is pretty simple too, if you know German language, it is the same as Ä and Ö, if not, just use Google Translate and listen. Easy and simple sounds.
