It's insane that Shaq was as dominant as he was despite his lack of discipline with nutrition and fitness. When Kobe said that Shaq would easily be the greatest NBA player of all time if he had that Kobe/MJ work ethic, I believe him. Shaq was superhuman.

Fun fact: Armwrestling world champion Devon Laratt once armwrestled Shaq on TV years ago. He said that Shaq was the strongest non-armwrestler he's ever faced. That's a HUGE compliment coming from Devon.

What Shaq said about his Achilles injury ending his career and making him happy is a very humble statement. Shaq has big talk, and it's definitely earned, but he's smart and realistic too. Happy he's on TNT and hope that crew sticks around for a few more years, although a couple of them seem close to retirement.

I'm 58 been watching this big man since for ever. Always loved this guy. Has become more humble with age and love him even more than that primadona MJ. Loved the fact that he's handing over the Superman title to Giannis Atentokoumbo. Great guy that will always be loved by even future generations of NBA enthusiasts.
