Recently I had two friends of mine who are also YouTube creators fall victim to the browser Session ID scam going around, bypassing their two-factor authentication. Hackers take over their YouTube channel and replace it with crypto livestreams, etc... It seems like it would be in YouTubes best interest to cover this topic on this channel. The thinking is always "how did this happen? I have two-factor turned on!" or "I have one of those fancy passkeys, that was supposed to help". Something to consider as it continues to happen almost every single day here on YouTube. Thanks!

The multilingual function on YouTube needs to be completely rethought.
I am Italian, I have YouTube set to Italian, but at the same time, I speak and understand English perfectly. In fact, most of the channels I follow are in English.
So why do I find video titles in English on my home page automatically (and poorly) translated into Italian?
And more importantly: why, for some reason over the past few days, are some random English videos starting with a terrible AI-generated voiceover in Italian? I then have to manually change the settings for each video to switch back to the original language.

The workaround is to set YouTube to English, but then I face the opposite issue with Italian videos.
Is it really possible that with all the resources Google has, you can't add a feature in the settings to let users indicate they speak more than one language and disable automatic translations?

It might sound strange, but believe it or not, people can actually be fluent in more than one language.

Automatic dubbing should be opt-in, not opt-out. As someone who is not from an English-speaking country but understands English, it is deeply annoying to have to change the audio track on a video-by-video basis. Or at least make an option on playback defaults to "prefer original audio".

Hi YT team, auto-dubbing, sounded like a great idea... And so far, I hate it as a user!

Channels I love and can follow in their original languages now get in French, and even after going through the longish procedure of setting the language back to original, I still get videos from the same creator, again in French when I want it in the original English.
The problem might be that languages seem to be attached to the country of residence. Users should be able to register which languageS they like and can follow. Just a thought here.

On the other side, as a multilingual creator, what I'm really longing for is be able to upload 2 audio versions myself, my a voice over on the language of the video published for my French audience.

Thanks for the update. Give us the flexibility to re-edit (equalize, remove noise, and normalize audio on already uploaded videos. I love the fact that we can now cut or blur out part of already uploaded videos, same can be done whereby we can upload new audio track provided they synch with the old vocal track

Really really REALLY awesome ! BUT ! COULD we get thumbnail selection for shorts for PC users ?? What's the hold up please ?? + can you start showing my content to my own subscribers again please, that would help a lot too ^^

Auto-dubbing is working quite well. Better than I expected. But why have we lost the option of manually publishing subtitles on the languages that are auto-dubbed?
That means that we can't clarify for the viewers (using the subtitles) a few technical language mistakes the AI made.
Most importantly, now deaf viewers can't follow our videos, since the option to auto-translate subtitles, when viewing, has also disappeared. Or am I missing something?
I had to add duplicated languages to be able to add subtitles in French, Spanish and Portuguese, for instance. And the option to edit subtitles after publishing them is also gone.
I would much prefer to do the voice over myself for Portuguese, Spanish, English and French, since I speak these languages. Are you planning on giving us the option to add our own audio tracks in the future (or replace the auto-dubbed ones)?

1st : comment managing moderator role have bug i can't open shorts comments section particular channels where i have been added as managing moderator

2nd : in live chat some people names first letter only disappear sometimes

And i have one request pls give access managing moderator to pin comments

And i have one thought idea to change toxic viewers like when someone speech like misunderstanding moderator put them to moderator only comment so that comment only visible to moderators and interact with them to change their misunderstanding or toxic behavior because hide time out its help to avoid them but there's no tool to change them thats why i want to ask that thank you

I wanna point out that creator insider has 700, 000 subscribers, yet their videos only average 4k videos in 24 hours. There's something awfully wrong with the algorithm.

Amazing feature and I hope it's smart enough to just convert our content into the viewers preferred language by default.
So if a Japanese person randomly comes across one of my videos, it just auto dubs to that language as soon as the video starts playing ^__^
