Day 6 and our final day of the Livin Lear Western Trip. Stay until the end for a special guest (hawk) flying over with a fish in its talons. Today we explored North Wilson Mountain. This trail is roughly 5.5 miles one way to get to the top. 11 miles round trip. We had set out with high hopes on getting to the top until we realized that the elevation gain is 2000 ft PLUS! We did roughly 2 miles up and back. It was a bit rougher than anticipated but well worth it in the long run. Beautiful view of Sedona! We finished the hike with some amazing pizza in Sedona. That evening we went to the swimming hole at Manzanita Campground to enjoy the cool water and challenge ourselves to some cliff jumping…. it was about 20 feet up.
