Danganronpa Characters but They are All Mastermind

In this video, I decided to show what the characters could be in the place of despair. I hope you like it ;3

1) I gathered data from Danganronpa Reddit and Pinterest.

2) Created a template in Adobe After Effects.

3) Added an audio track with the help of Sony Vegas Pro.

Here's my head-canon for each of the Mastermind!Characters (likely will be updated through time.):

Mastermind!Makoto: 'Now do you call this luck? The fact that I've outplayed every single one of you to reach this tragic conclusion? Luck might have been something that contributed to me today, but it is my own effort that achieved this end. Unlike you who are born with envious talents, I gained my own skills, and with them... I will tear every single one of you down.' -In this case, Makoto isn't exactly the hopeful boy that he is. He thinks that his title as Ultimate Lucky Student is a degradation on him, and it was evident from how much he might have been looked down upon by other members of the class. Obviously, he snaps and goes on to become the mastermind, creating the killing game, as vengeance against the 'talented Ultimates' for looking down upon him. He solves the murders, to allay any suspicion on him, and even constructed a solid 'backstory' to hide the truth. But in the end, it's Kyoko who realises what is bad with Makoto, and outs the truth about his nature. And from then... Makoto only laughs madly, and the final class trial really starts.

Mastermind!Aoi: 'Don't get me wrong, I don't hate any of you at all. But it's just that I wanted to get rid of you all, because I needed to be alone on the top. I wanted to be the most famous person there was, but when you're in a school where everyone has more attractive talents... Well, just believe me when I say this... I wanted you all to die without having to hate me for it, but guess it's too late for that.' -In this iteration, Aoi is quite the spotlight hog. Although she keeps her affable and tender personality that made her beloved by everyone else, she just couldn't see other Ultimates as nothing but her 'rivals' who would likely steal her spotlight. Perhaps in her childhood, she had a bad upbringing that enforced the idea 'be number 1, or be nothing', contrasted to her canonical 'winning doesn't matter, it's the journey to the top that counts'. She genuinely was reluctant to be a murderer, but she is forced into the extreme method, after learning about it, and theorising how effective it was, and how it was the only way she could eradicate them and keep her path to the top without consequences. However, Makoto, heart-broken that one of the most kindest person he knew, would be responsible for this killing game, outed her within the final class trial.

Mastermind!Byakuya: 'The Togami Family has funded such killing games ever since the conception of Hope's Peak Academy. It has never been found out, and it never will. So cease this futility in finding a way out... I always win in the end.' - As evident by his abrasive nature, Byakuya finds amusement in watching the entire class go at each other's throats without restraint, in the peak of despair. Within this universe, the reason why there are so many classes, is that they've never graduated, because each of them were thrown into the Killing Game, and none survived to tell the tale about each one of them. Every Killing Game was led by a Togami family member, with Byakuya being the latest one, interested in seeing the appeal of it. It is a battle of wits, between the observant Makoto, and the sharp-witted Byakuya. Who will win? Freedom or slaughter?

Mastermind!Celestia: 'But isn't this the greatest gamble of them all? A game where even the slightest mistake can put all of your heads on the chopping block? I simply relish the feeling of being at the edge of the blade, with my own life on the line in this lethal game of death! Don't you feel the same, win or lose, it is the greatest rush of adrenaline and excitement in the gamble to the death! AHAHAHAHA!' -Celestia, in this scenario, would likely have a twisted personality. Considering that money is but a fleeting resource, but lives are invaluable, to gamble your life and win is what Celestia considers to be the greatest prize of them all. She bet her life against the yakuza, with threat of death, and yet her gambling experience has never let her feel the slightest rush. That's when she thought of a killing game: as a mastermind, she would make others gamble their lives to stop her, and she would gamble hers to keep the game going for her amusement. As it does not truly draw upon her gambling talent, it means that she is truly without advantage, and her life can really be lost... and that is all it took to convince her to go through with it... For she awaits the day that someone would challenge her for the lives of the students, against her own life, in a gamble with the highest stakes she could ever imagine!

Mastermind!Chihiro: 'You know, I never really did like any of you at all. Pretending to be a meek little lamb before all of you... Speaking those words makes me feel sick in the mouth. Once I'm done eradicating you lot, I'll use what I learned from here to create the nation-wide killing game. And then... everyone will know what it's like to be the one who has their fate decided by their greater." - Like canon, Chihiro did not have a good childhood, with all of the bullying and discrimination. However, instead of dressing as a girl to fulfill his weakness complex, he instead turned vengeful to the world that did nothing but look down upon him. His first creations was Monokuma, programmed with his AI, and he quickly created the basis of the killing game. He was easily able to pretend that he was a harmless victim, with his past experience as a child. But once Makoto revealed his true intentions, his true vicious and spiteful personality showed, with a twisted smile of sadism on his face.
