MAGA Evangelicals and Their Misplaced Hope

I got pushed out of a church I had attended and served in for over 45 years because I pointed out MAGA and the Christians following that were not obeying the commandments of Jesus. Lost some friends over that too. Nothing is worth losing your connection to Jesus. There is a remnant in the American Church who have not followed this cult. Sadly the polls show they are in the minority. We need to find each other and do exactly what you preached . Reach the lost, which includes MAGA, and show them true salvation is only in Jesus.

I like that challenge! I hadn't thought of how living truly for Christ would actually be a resistance towards MAGA....well, I guess I had sort of thought of that but not in a titled form. Since I was once MAGA I look back at the last 4 years and thank God for how much He has shown me and how much I have grown. I look forward (God willing) to my growing exponentially in the next 4 years. I do hope that when Trump fails to be the savior current MAGAs envisioned that they truly see that he had failed. Because I watched the false prophets and false apostles failed and I saw through that but others watched the same thing and CHOSE not to see. I wonder how many will choose not to see again...

I was raised primarily Baptist. I believed that if I said a prayer I was saved and I could live anyway I wanted as long as I asked for forgiveness.
In 1997 I was told that my father in law had gone to the hospital so my sister in law and I drove to the hospital. When I walked into the emergency room I was met with, he’s gone. I immediately ran out of the hospital and crouched behind the entrance and cried. Hiding there, I heard a man say to me, “Why are you running from God?” I was bewildered by what he had said. I had no idea that whoever he was, God had spoke right through him. After that day I began reading my Bible. I started to realize that everything I had believed or had been taught was a lie. I have been reading my Bible and praying for all these years. God has changed my entire life and my heart. I believe that this taught me a valuable lesson. I don’t believe anything unless I can substantiate it with facts. I am the only person in my family who has not made DT an idol. They have looked me directly in the eye and said, “It doesn’t matter what the Word of God says.” I don’t think any of them were actually believers because they had no fruit and their lives never exemplified Jesus. I pray that maga will have eyes to see and ears to hear. I do hope that unbelievers will see what true believers look like and will eventually come to know Him

My mind has been spinning, I was on here watching one of the newscasters I’ve been watching for the past years. I have been so sad and so frightened at seeing what has happened to my country. I am older so seen a bit of history been so depressed I’ve been despondent, and amazingly your site came up. There was really no reason for this to happen. I am seriously not trying to be offensive! I say this because the overwhelming majority of the planet could see exactly who and what he was immediately, not to mention the decades of information, and court records that have followed him, his entire life.

The true meaning of becoming a Christian is that a person wants to live their life by the teachings of Christ. I’m sorry but I don’t see it in those calling themselves Christians nowadays. I don’t believe any of them care what Jesus taught.
