Hello Everyone! I have spent the last few weeks reading the amazing 2024 Booker Longlist and I must tell you that I do not envy the judging panel. This is a very strong group of books. So, today I review the 12 books I was able to read (I never was able to get a copy of Playground - and will order a copy if it makes the short list). I review them in the order that I loved them. But to be honest, they are all worth your time. Come take a look.

I added a few of these to my TBR. I too adored James and hope even more people read it.
I'm Canadian and Anne Michaels is quite revered here but I've never been able to get into her books, so don't feel too bad.
Plus, I hope somebody hears your Colin Farrell movie casting, I'd watch it!!

I am worried I won't like Headshot because I heard it has some odd narrative device

I read Orbital, James and Wandering Stars and loved them all in that order least to most, but feel like James is the book I’ll remember in 2 decades 📖💚🪱
