This video is for beginners who want to learn how Jira automation works. We run through how to automatically create sub-tasks whenever a task is created.

Any Jira cloud admin can run this rule in their project or with Jira Software Premium - you can run it across your entire org.

In the video you said you were going to show scheduled triggers which I didn't see. I'm trying to create a scheduled trigger that creates an issue with subtasks included. I keep running into a JQL error and I'm not sure how to resolve issue. "The rule has been configured with components that require issues to be provided by the trigger. You need to use the option to run JQL to provide issues. The following components require issues: Create sub-tasks" I don't understand how to query for an issue that doesn't exist yet because the trigger hasn't ran.
