Madeline's Madeline Promo 3 - Pulled Away from Reality

"Pulled Away from Reality" is inspired by the film Madeline's Madeline. Written, choreographed, and performed by
Phoenix M. Flores-Gonzalez, Gianna McCurry, and Dallas Rodriguez, for instructor Cristal Tiscareno's Dance 20B contemporary dance class and Fresno Filmworks.
Made 20 September 2018 in the halls of the Fresno City College Old Administration Building.

Artists' statement: This piece chooses to immerse the dancers in the physical embodiment of a person's mental health. As the line between reality and imagination blurs, they explore how the person experiencing this confusion would constantly bounce between leaning into the imaginary and trying to find their way back to reality.
